Nimitr at 137 Pillars rooftop bar in Phrom Phong, Bangkok

Nimitr at 137 Pillars

Fine Traditional Thai Gastronomy in a Glass Floor Vistas

Phrom PhongFloor 27City view
Opens at 17:00

Our take

The circular glass floor on the balcony — 27 storeys of nothing beneath your shoes — gets the photographs, but Nimitr's real case is quieter confidence: progressive Thai cooking (wagyu massaman, miang kham with scallops), botanical cocktails, and no DJ anywhere. The blue-and-gold room above Phrom Phong is one of the few rooftops built for real conversation and a serious dinner at the same time.

Insider tip

Book the 5:30 PM seating rather than a later one — the room changes completely as the city shifts from orange to black. Dress the part (long trousers and closed shoes for men), and keep the whisky bar one floor up in reserve as your nightcap.
