A pool-deck bar doing double duty: by day it's the Amara hotel's lazy poolside lounge, by night the 26th floor opens up to anyone wanting Mahanakhon framed against the financial district with a drink in hand. The views outperform the bar — service is great but the drinks are priced a notch above what they deliver. Come for an easy golden hour on the quiet end of Surawong; save the serious cocktail money for later in the night.
