Two decades on, the formula still isn't beaten: a ship's-prow deck on a converted helipad, an open rail, and the light dropping toward the Chao Phraya with nothing in the way. A world's-best-lists regular — and walk-ins only, so timing is your only reservation. Some clichés are clichés because they're correct.

Be at the rail right at 5 PM for unobstructed sunset shots, and order the signature Vertigo Sunset. If the deck is packed, Vertigo next door shares the exact same rooftop.
