Thonburi's most polished reason to cross the river after dark: a 26th-floor deck in warm, Miami-leaning art deco, where Chef Olivier da Costa's South American-Asian kitchen holds its own against the view and the bar serves a proper negroni. The infinity pool is more a mirror for the skyline than a place to swim in. Enjoy a good meal, and enjoy the breathtaking view.

Take the free Avani/Anantara shuttle boat from Saphan Taksin pier for a scenic arrival across the river. The 26th-floor is where it is, and one floor up is the open-air bar rebranded as SIN.
