Our take

The theatre starts at street level: a private glass lift carries you straight into a red-lit room where mixologist Brian Gonzalez Fernandez's ten original cocktails — the miso-and-bourbon Forbidden Nectar out front — treat drinking as the main event. Until ten it plays intimate and slow, all river shimmer and conversation; then the DJs come in and the terrace changes gear. Drinks sit at the top of the market and it is mostly justified.
