Our take

Bangkok's least fashionable great rooftop, and proudly so — sitting on top of Thailand's tallest hotel, no less. The cocktails are basic, the buffet is enormous, and none of it matters once the 84th-floor deck starts turning: you stand still, and over half an hour the platform slowly carries you one full lap around the Bangkok skyline. Every skybar sells a view; this is the only one that operates it like a fairground ride.

Insider tip

Deck access runs about ฿450 and includes a beer or cocktail at the bar below — time one full revolution over your drink. And bring a layer: 84 floors up, it gets properly windy up there.
