All-Day Dining & a Half-Moon Terrace at the Okura
Our take
The Okura's all-day answer to rooftop culture: breakfast at altitude, a famous afternoon tea, then the half-moon terrace clicking into cocktail mode as the jazz trio starts. Everything runs on Japanese-grade precision — the service is the quiet flex — and the curved terrace rail gives Ploenchit its most architectural sunset frame. Less a party deck than a very tall, very calm living room. Sometimes that's exactly what you need.
Insider tip
It opens at 6am for breakfast and runs straight through to a Sunday brunch, with a 2-for-1 happy hour from five to seven if cocktails are the plan. Afternoon tea runs roughly 2–5pm and is worth booking ahead — it's the busiest slot of the day.
