The Best Rooftop Bars in Bangkok with Live Music

Six terraces where the soundtrack is played, not piped — jazz domes, acoustic jungles and trumpet sessions above the traffic.

Lamaya Rooftop Bar rooftop bar in Sukhumvit / Phrom Phong, Bangkok

1.Lamaya Rooftop Bar

Sukhumvit / Phrom Phong · Floor 30

An immersive jungle on the Staybridge Suites' 30th floor where something is performed every single night — live acoustic sets, fire shows, light shows, even winged "angel" performances gliding between the greenery. No checking the calendar, no off nights. The dense foliage swallows the street noise below so the music lands in something close to silence, and the Italian-Thai kitchen is far better than a show venue needs it to be.

Book a table near the stage side of the terrace and stay for the fire show after the acoustic set.

ThreeSixty Rooftop Bar rooftop bar in Thon Buri, Bangkok

2.ThreeSixty Rooftop Bar

Thon Buri · Floor 31

A fully glass-domed lounge designed by New York's Tony Chi, billed as Bangkok's tallest riverside jazz venue — internationally-ranked singers perform most nights inside the dome, with an open-air deck alongside for the humid months. Arriving via the Hilton's free shuttle boat from Saphan Taksin — a river crossing, then jazz above the water — is the best-choreographed evening on this list.

Take the shuttle boat over and get a dome-side seat for the singer; the air-con jazz room is the move in hot season.

The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar rooftop bar in Chidlom / Langsuan, Bangkok

Chidlom / Langsuan · Floors 24–25

Full 1920s commitment across two floors of Hotel Muse: purple-lit Art Deco rooms, dark leather, staff in period dress, and signature cocktails served with their own Prohibition-era backstories. When the live sets run, the whole scene clicks into place like a film set that serves drinks — and the Blind Pig cigar lounge hidden on the 24th floor completes the fantasy. Cocktails run ฿550-plus once service and VAT land, but the theatre is included.

Five minutes from BTS Chidlom — come for sunset, stay for the band, finish at the Blind Pig.

Lennon's rooftop bar in Ploenchit, Bangkok

4.Lennon's

Ploenchit · Floor 30

The 6,000-vinyl archive is the headline, but Thursday through Sunday Lennon's adds live performance to the audiophile room — and a space built this carefully around sound, under beverage director KT Lam's music-inspired cocktail list, makes live music feel three-dimensional. On off nights, the records you pick yourself still carry the room.

Go Thursday–Sunday for the live sets; any other night, hand the staff a record and let the archive play.

Unculture Silom Rooftop Bar rooftop bar in Silom, Bangkok

Silom · Floor 5

Raw, indie and sitting exactly level with the BTS tracks — trains slide past at eye height, lit up against the Mahanakhon tower, while bands play neo-soul and indie rock on this fifth-floor Silom deck. Leo and Chang run about ฿150, cocktails under ฿300, and the crowd is street photographers, trainspotters and locals who'd rather have this than a hotel bar. Five minutes from BTS Chong Nonsi, exit 3.

Arrive right at the 5 PM open for a rail-side seat: live set on one side, glowing trains on the other.

Bravo Rooftop Bar & Artistic rooftop bar in Khao San / Phra Nakhon, Bangkok

Khao San / Phra Nakhon · Floors 3–4

Live jazz trumpet in a layered Khao San shophouse, with painting workshops running alongside, free snacks with your Thai craft beer, and a 360° low-rise view over the Old Town toward the river. It's intimate, scrappy and completely unpolished in the best way — the only venue on this list where you might leave with a canvas as well as a bar tab.

Cash only, and reserve on weekends. Come after dark, when the workshops wind down and the trumpet takes over.
